Venture concept

Managed Reporting Service

Repeatable operational reports from customer-supplied data, with checked calculations and exception review.

Overview

Illustrative concept — not yet trading

An illustrative service that turns agreed operational inputs into a consistent report. Data ownership, definitions, access and delivery arrangements would need to be established before any live customer reporting.

Business model

A proposed recurring reporting service, with onboarding scope and recurring reporting requirements agreed separately. Repeatable delivery would need to cover both routine runs and the cost of exceptions.

Operating workflow

  1. Ingest customer-supplied data
  2. Validate structure and completeness
  3. Calculate results deterministically
  4. Draft explanatory narrative
  5. Human exception review
  6. Deliver the report

Human time: TBC

Each venture is intended to have its own management P&L; this does not imply a separate legal company. Future actual results will need a period, definitions and source notes.

Risks to test: Source data quality, access controls and maintenance. Changes to customer systems or data definitions can invalidate a report even when the automation completes successfully.

Human oversight

Financial and numeric results would be calculated deterministically. AI may assist the explanation, but would not be the calculation engine. A person would review exceptions, reconcile unusual results and approve material changes to definitions.

Lessons for clients

System integration, exception handling and repeatable reporting. It would test where reusable data checks and consistent definitions improve reliability across reporting cycles.
