Ask what changes
Which task becomes faster, more reliable or easier to manage? Who benefits?
Understand the work. Evaluate the alternatives. Introduce technology with a clear purpose and a practical operating model.
Right-Sized Business Solutions means choosing technology proportionate to the problem. We start with the trigger, the people doing the work, the decisions they make and the exceptions they handle. The solution is right-sized to the need.
If the issue is an unclear approval rule, clarifying the rule may do more than adding an AI agent. If a stable task follows explicit rules, standard automation may be enough.
A promising demonstration is only a starting point. Compare the benefit with the full cost of ownership: setup, AI usage, software, maintenance and human intervention. Make assumptions explicit and identify what needs measuring.

Include review, exceptions, recovery and the cost of keeping integrations current.
Consider what current tools can already do before introducing another platform. Review integration options, data definitions, permissions and ownership. Prefer changes that the business can understand, operate and maintain.
Set boundaries around what a system may read, recommend and do. The assessment identifies which controls are needed for the client and the workflow; this is an approach, not a claim of audited security certification.
Use the access needed for the defined task and identify who owns it.
Decide which outputs or actions need a person to approve them.
Define budgets and thresholds before allowing automated purchases.
Give uncertain, failed or unusual cases a clear route to a person.
Test a bounded case with agreed evaluation criteria. Compare cost, human effort, reliability and financial contribution against a baseline. Decide whether to expand, change the approach or stop based on what the pilot shows.
We intend to use internal ventures to test operational ideas and commercial assumptions. Their lessons should come from measured operation, with costs and human effort visible. The current portfolio contains illustrative concepts only.
